2nd SDA Appointment

Praise the Lord because He faithfully answered our prayers and granted us a successful SDA appointment.  Our appointment was so successful in fact that we couldn't decide on which child to pick.  We have strong feelings about two girls and we are so excited thinking that one of these beauties is ours!  Thankfully we will have the opportunity to meet both girls before making a final decision.  We're bringing some goodies for the children at each of the girls' orphanages, so our interaction with each girl will be fun and relaxed.

Obviously, the decision we now face is a significant one, and we want to continue to follow in God's will.  Please pray that we are able to discern the Lord's will for us clearly and without reservation.

  1. Praise God! We will pray now that God makes it clear which little girl will become your forever child. He will give you an unmistakable peace in your heart.

  2. Awesome! Praying God makes the road before you infinitely clear now as you discern which child is the perfect fit for your family!

Or, maybe as Amy and (spacing on her husband's name at the moment...) from "Tiny Green Elephants" did, you'll end up with two, too! Remember, they were only planning on getting Maria and then God also ended up leading them to bring home Elijah, too!

And you've got another family joining you in country bringing home three, but if they can get the funding while there, may also bringing home two much younger siblings of their three that have never lived with their three, but they just found out about...and they said the cost to add it on while in country was a lot less than a second trip, etc.

So maybe if God doesn't make it clear between the two, He's leading you to both for a reason! (Or, maybe somehow out of it He'll use you to advocate for the other down the road!)

Anyway, just my thoughts as I was reading your post and praying!
