Meet my friend Kate:
Kate has a passion for helping children and has been given the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Riga, Latvia this summer with an organization called Orphan Outreach. The primary goal of the trip is to build relationships with the children, show them they are loved, and share God's unconditional love. Those going have been asked to bring backpacks, school supplies, and craft items for a Vacation Bible School event that they are preparing. Also, the orphans in Latvia are in great need of basic items such as lice treatment, Band-Aids, toothbrushes, socks, underwear, etc.
Kate's already purchased her own airline ticket, but she still needs to cover the supplies mentioned above and $1900. This will cover 10 days of food, bottled water, lodging, insurance, interpreters, and cultural events.
I've often heard from individuals that they while they aren't in the position to adopt themselves, they would like to do something to help an orphan. Here's your chance to make a tangible difference! Make a donation, no later than June 30, 2015, to go towards Kate's mission trip. All donations made through Orphan Outreach are tax-deductible and the amount is anonymous. Donations can be made by going to:
www.orphanoutreach.org. Click Make a Donation, Support a Mission Trip Participant, put in an amount, her name (Kate Friesen), and trip code LA15-07FBCL. She would also really appreciate your prayers.
Feel free to comment below if you have any additional questions. Thank you in advance for your help, I am always blown away at my readers generosity! :)

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment to check in on baby lady. Praise the Lord, she's doing wonderful. We were even able to get some great photos of her hanging out. I mean, how cute is this little munchkin...
I realize to most of the world she probably looks like an alien in these 3D images, but I think she is beautiful and perfect! I can already see some resemblance's between her and Levi. It's hard to believe that baby #3 will be joining our family soon. God really has a sense of humor, as we will have a teenager, toddler, and newborn all at once! YIKES! While the thought is a little overwhelming, we are so thankful for our little blessings and how God has grown our family so quickly.

Happy Easter! Christ has risen and will come again!
"Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."
I hope everyone had a blessed easter. We kicked off our festivities watching Ruslana in her Spring musical. The school did such a great job at portraying the Biblical story. Here are some photos from the night:
Here she comes!
Levi: Ruslana's biggest (clapping, pointing,
and cheering) fan
After the musical the kids went on a candy hunt.
She shared her candy with one of her friends, a four year old little girl with DS.
I love Ruslana's thoughtful and sharing heart.
We are so thankful for her wonderful school that believes, teaches, and lives out the gospel message everyday.
On Sunday morning we went to church. Instead of meeting in the normal location, the congregation gathered together at the Shrine auditorium for one large service.
Levi decided to get some mowing done while he hunted.
What great work ethic!
Model alert! :)

I've been encouraged over the last few weeks to update the blog more. I'll admit, I still can't believe that anyone other than my mom actually reads this! So, to my faithful readers, here's an update. Thanks for continuing to check in on my crazy family.
Like most months, March was a busy one!
On March 6, it was Marks birthday. I took him on a surprise overnight trip (first time with no kids!) to Palm Springs. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. We stayed in a private bungalow with an outdoor tub, got massages, ate at Copley's (Cary Grant's former estate), and had fun exploring down town. I felt like it was my birthday too :-)
We also moved. This was our 5th move in 7 years. Phewf, I'm tired of moving! Trying to pack when you're seven months pregnant and have a toddler isn't ideal, but I made it! I told Mark he's going to need to wheel me out of this place when I'm 100 because I never want to move again! Fingers crossed. We are now living in the most adorable, charming cottage with an awesome backyard. We are enjoying it so much. Here are some photos of the move and hanging out at our new place:
Move morning snuggles. Could this be any cuter?!
Ruslana is such a great big sister.

(I promise she didn't wear PJ's all day!)

Craigs List find. THANK YOU DAD! :)

deer statues in the backyard.
One of the best parts of the backyard is the playhouse!
I can't wait to decorate it and put some fun toys inside.
Levi is having an especially good time outside:
Blowng "bubbies" aka bubbles
Off-roading in his quad
And to earn his keep, Levi mowing the lawn:
Ruslana's two year homecoming anniversary was on March 31st. In some ways it feels like it was only yesterday that we were in Ukraine, but I also can't imagine our family without her! What an amazing blessing it has been to see her flourish over the last two years.
Baby lady continues to grow and thrive and I'm now in the third trimester. It's hard to believe that we will be meeting her soon! We can't wait.
March has been quite the eventful month and it's looking like April will be too. I'll do my best to keep you in the loop!
